International Center of Photography (ICP) at THE POINT

A collaborative program with the International Center of Photography, ICP at THE POINT teaches youth students the fundamentals of black-and-white photography.   ICP at THE POINT was a 2005 President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities Coming Up Taller Award-winner. • $400 includes the lessons, supplies and use of photo lab.  

• Spaces are limited ($100 down payment required; which
   includes securing a space). 

• Payment plan available.

This course is for beginners seeking an introduction to both camera handling and basic black-and-white darkroom techniques.
Topics include camera operation, principles of exposure, film development, and how to create a story through photographs.

Photography Education
Students as young as nine take part in weekly after school and summer classes.
