Y.O. is a paid program for high school students aimed at fostering youth leadership through arts and culture to drive long-term systemic change and environmental justice in Hunts Point, The Bronx, and beyond. Participants collaborate with THE POINT CDC educators and artists, along with community members, other community-based environmental justice groups, and more, to create ongoing, creative, youth-led solutions for issues impacting the Hunts Point neighborhood. Y.O. members receive training in civic leadership, art, culture, media, and environmental justice.
